- 2Choose New Connector, then Custom.
- 3Paste https://mcp.hover.ninja/mcp and finish sign-in.
What works
Per xAI's docs, Grok can use custom connectors in chat, so it can look up your Hover data and make changes you approve.
What to expect with approvals
When you ask for a change in Hover, such as creating a job, Grok gives you an approval link first. Open the link yourself, check the details, then choose Approve. If something looks wrong, choose Deny and nothing changes.
About signing in
Approval links only work in a browser where you are signed in to Hover. If you open one on your phone, in a different browser, or in an agent's cloud browser, Hover may ask you to sign in again. That is expected.

When Grok finishes sign-in, it shows up in your AI apps.
