Connect Claude

BetaHover Ninja is in testing with a limited set of Hover organizations.

Agent help uses Claude in Chrome, which needs a paid Claude plan and Chrome or Edge on a computer. On the Free plan and on mobile, this is Chat only.

Add Hover Ninja to Claude once on the web. It then works in Claude on the web, on desktop, and on mobile.

Hover Ninja is in limited beta. If your Hover organization is not part of it yet, we will show you how to request access when you sign in.

Hover Ninja is for Hover account admins at this time. If you're not an admin, ask your Hover admin to set up Hover Ninja.

Steps

  1. 1If you don't have a Claude account, sign up, then choose Use Claude for free on the plans page. The free plan allows one custom connector.
  2. 2On Team or Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner adds the connector first. In Organization settings, then Connectors, choose Add, then Custom, then Web, and paste https://mcp.hover.ninja/mcp. On Enterprise, people with a custom role that includes Manage access to Libraries can add it too. Members then find Hover Ninja in their connectors and choose Connect.
  3. 3Open claude.ai/customize/connectors. If it doesn't open your connectors, open Plugins in the sidebar (Customize on accounts that have not switched yet) and filter to connectors.
  4. 4Choose + Add, then Add custom connector. If you see Custom instead, choose Custom, then Web.
  5. 5Enter a name such as Hover Ninja and paste https://mcp.hover.ninja/mcp. On the next screen, keep the defaults, Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity, then choose Add.
  6. 6Choose Connect on the connector page, choose Continue to Hover, then choose Allow on Hover's "Authorize Hover Ninja?" page. Choose + in the chat, then Connectors, and turn Hover Ninja on.

What works

Claude can look up your Hover data and make changes you approve. With a paid Claude plan and Claude in Chrome, Claude can also open Hover in Chrome or Edge on your computer to help you set up your account. On the Free plan and on mobile, Claude is Chat only.

What to expect with approvals

When you ask for a change in Hover, such as creating a job, Claude gives you an approval link first. Open the link yourself, check the details, then choose Approve. If something looks wrong, choose Deny and nothing changes.

About signing in

Approval links only work in a browser where you are signed in to Hover. If you open one on your phone, in a different browser, or in an agent's cloud browser, Hover may ask you to sign in again. That is expected.

Claude in Chrome uses the browser you are already signed in to, so if you are signed in to Hover there, you may not need to sign in again. On mobile, approval links open in your phone's browser, which may ask you to sign in to Hover.

When Claude opens Hover to help with setup, you sign in to Hover yourself.
